About the Event

Burns Night marks the anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns, a poet and one of Scotland’s most famous and celebrated Scots. The Friends of Junior King's take great pleasure in inviting you to our 2024 Burns’ Night Supper and

Ceilidh on Friday 26th January.

Guests will be greeted at 7pm at the Main School door by the drop off lane by a Piper and be led to the

Dining Hall.

Once there, we shall enjoy a hearty feast of haggis, neeps and tatties (vegetarian option is available) and

perhaps a wee dram; celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns; witness a breathtaking sword dance

performance and then dance the night away at our traditional Ceilidh.

Tickets cost £45 per person, plus a booking fee. Tables of 6 can be booked by a table lead.

You may also book individual tickets and you will be allocated to a table. The Ticket includes a reception drink, meal and a shot of whiskey.

Dress code is a Touch of Tartan. Kilts are very welcome.

Pre-Order your drinks from here to save the hassle on the night. We will send you the menu choices nearer the time, vegetarian option available too.

Carriages at midnight.

Even if you can’t join us on the night itself, all donations of Whisky, Fine Wine or Champagne shall be very gratefully received for the Burns Night Raffle. Please leave your contribution with Mrs Walker in the Main School Office by lunchtime on Thursday 25th January.

All net proceeds from the evening will go to The Dean’s Bursary Fund.

Thank you for your support and best wishes,

FJKS Team
